Groot became part of our family in May 2018. Groot was an angel sent from heaven to give comfort, and unconditional love after the death of my mother. Groot brings so much joy and peace to this family. Your every step is his step. There is no such thing as your space when he is around. He has a small frame but a huge heart of love.

Right before Christmas the leader of walks had become the follower. Groot could not jump and run. After several visits to the vets, medication, X-ray and a cat scan it was found the Groot has a rapture disk that would require back surgery.

Groot favorite people are his papa, mama, sister and his nephew Eli. Groot loves to play with his white towel wrapping himself up like a ghost and his grey rabbit. He loves chasing the broom. He loves to ride, when he hears the keys he knows it time to windsurf.

We are on a fixed income. The thought of not having the means to help Groot has caused so much despair and depression. Watching him in so much pain is gut wrenching.He has been a part of our family for 7 yrs thru birthdays and holidays he is dearly loved.
