Grover is a 5 month old Mix-Breed in Marston, MO, who needs $500 for Complete Blood Panel and Follow-Up Treatment.

Grover came into my life because of my granddaughter naming his mother who is a stray. He was born May 23, 2024 in a burnt-out house next door a day before severe storms and a tornado hit Sikeston, Missouri. I rescued him, 4 siblings (Stellar, Tobias, Ollie and Bella) and his mother (Charlie). A total of 6 other cats' lives in my family's home. We live in a rural area with no local shelters.

Grover started getting ill about 3 weeks ago. He was taken to the vet for possible worms and ear mites. He tested negative for both. Preventive dewormer and ear medicines were given. but he is still ill. A blood panel is between $150-200 depending on the vet clinic. (Bootheel Animal Clinic or Delta Veterinary in Sikeston, MO).

Grover used to be the first one to greet me at the door, be my pooper scooper supervisor and always wants to eat. Now he just sits off by himself, barely eats and doesn't play at all. He is no longer a vibrant kitten but a bag of bones.

My husband is disabled because of his various health issues, our youngest daughter moved back home, I work full time and have some health issues. Our money goes mostly to our cats who are all rescues. Grover needs vet care. I want him healthy and in a furever home.
