I used to live in a small ghost town in Arizona. I would drive 45 minutes to the next town for physical therapy after experiencing a work injury. I saw Grubbs wandering the isolated highway and I had to scoop him up. My guess was 3-4 months old. When no one reported him missing in either town I decided to name him. That was five years ago. Grubbs has 3 kitty siblings but Gremlin is his favorite.

Grubbs and I were in a car accident. My poor puppy was ejected from the car. It is such a blessing he survived. Unfortunately his hip is dislocated and one leg is broken. He needs two surgeries. My credit is too bad for a loan. I am hoping a vet can bill me or allow a payment plan. I took him to a BellaSPCA. They are doing so much for his pain and bladder issue but they do not have more resources.

Grubbs saved my life and/or from a car jacking. I was in a parking lot eating a late lunch when two men opened both my back doors to get inside. My Grubbers ran them off. He’s nervous of new people but once he realizes you’re a friend he’ll talk back and grunt differently at you depending on his mood. If I am drinking something while he’s thirsty he’ll smack at my drink until I get him one too.

My fiancé works two jobs. I am currently looking. I am not working because we had plans to prepare to start a family but now that this has happened our new focus has become recovery
