We got our dog, Guido, online on Craigslist, my son called him Guido because he wanted to keep a name with a G because we have a cat called Gongo. Guido has been with us since he was 2 months old. He is our emotional support help, especially after we went through a very hard time due to the pandemic.

Guido love to sleep between my bed and my son's bed. He is very picky about food and often eats only once a day. He loves people more than dogs. He is a bit wary of big dogs mostly because of his wobbly and hurt back legs. He is afraid especially with younger dogs to get hurt when they want to play.

The Vet at Angell Animal Medical Center told me that Guido's patellar luxation is now at level 3 and that Guido needs surgery right away to help him walk without pain and without damaging his joints more. If Guido doesn't have the surgery, he will develop arthritis and if left untreated, the movement of the patella back and forth will wear down the groove will wear down the cartilage.

Guido loves to steal my son's socks or bite my sweater when I come back home. He is very playful, happy, and very sweet. He starts to howl at any emergency sirene sound every time he hears one, he does it at home or in the street while we walk outside. He does it all the time and has a pretty loud voice.
