Gunnar is a 4 year old American Bulldog in Akron, , who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

We were lucky enough to find Gunnar the light that we needed as we had just lost our dog of 10 years and our children have graduated high school and entered the military. The home was very empty. We brought our precious baby home and he brought so much love back into the home.

At the end of 2023 we noticed Gunnar begin to limp on his one leg and his quality of life began to dwindle and he wanted to lay around and if he did play he paid for it later. We did research and located a vet that provided a diagnosis that Gunnar would need the TPLO surgery. We were able to pull our retirement money and pay for the right leg surgery at Med Vet.

Gunnar returned to his vibrant, fun loving, and a happy go lucky kind of a guy. We were told that his other leg would need done at his follow up appointment in August of 2024. We have been trying to save up another 6300 for the left leg. In the meantime, his left leg is getting worse and he will need to have the surgery sooner than expected. We love this guy with our whole heart.
