Gulf Coast Vet Hospital wants between 13000 and 15,000 dollars to do replacement surgery. I can’t find any cheaper or but 2 in Houston that does this surgery. It’s hard to ask for money to get his surgery. Every penny goes to Gulf Coast. I’m told he could live another 14 years. If dogs live that long. Gunnar is such a loving dog He never has gotten on furniture or bed except his. Never jumps on people but doesn’t want anyone to close to me. He has an Australian Shepherd pup I got to replace a long lived Cocker that passed. Gunnar has treated this Aussie like it is his son. He will scold it but doesn’t want me to. Gunnar may be the smartest dog I’ve ever owned. Couldn’t see his face at night.
