About this campaign

Gunnar was from a litter of 4 pups. I fell in love with his perfect markings and he came to me from the first. He was so active and strong. Then he started limping on his left back hip. Now he can’t put weight on it and mostly sleeps. You can see the pain in his face and it’s like please help me Daddy. I am financially broke like most people. It breaks my heart as I can’t even get him vetprofen

Gulf Coast Vet Hospital wants between 13000 and 15,000 dollars to do replacement surgery. I can’t find any cheaper or but 2 in Houston that does this surgery. It’s hard to ask for money to get his surgery. Every penny goes to Gulf Coast. I’m told he could live another 14 years. If dogs live that long. So if you can find it in your heart and bank account to help Gunnar get this Surgery we him and I

Gunnar is such a loving dog He never has gotten on furniture or bed except his. Never jumps on people but doesn’t want anyone to close to me. He has an Australian Shepherd pup I got to replace a long lived Cocker that passed. Gunnar has treated this Aussie like it is his son. He will scold it but doesn’t want me to. Gunnar may be the smartest dog I’ve ever owned. Couldn’t see his face at night.

I to myself have had both of my hips replaced and my lower back has rid pins and screws in it. I am 68 on a fixed income. I can’t stand or walk far. He is my best companion since my wife passed. Gunnar has kept me going and makes me get up and used to play
