Gunner is a 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Ponca City , OK, who needs $2,000 for Surgically Repair Three Broken Bones in Right Leg.

Our local humane society was looking for foster parents and we offered our home and our hearts to help dogs in need. Gunner came bouncing around the corner and we knew he was our forever pup. We adopted him just a day later and he has filled our hearts with love. Being home and caring for two young girls has created such a bond with our family to him.

Gunner was hit by a car that didn’t stop! We rushed him to OSU here in Oklahoma where he is staying over night. We have contacted Oklahoma Veterinary Specialists to surgically put his leg back together, it broke in three places.

Having Gunner in our lives has become our everything. He is the center of our hearts and like another child. We are incredibly devastated with this accident. He’s just a pup still and has such a long life ahead of him. He loves the kids and our rescue cats. He just loves everyone.

We are on a very fixed income. I stay home to be with the girls while their dad works out of town to support our family. Having Gunner home and healed would mean the world to us. I just can’t imagine a complete home without him being here.
