Gunner came into our lives as a puppy. He was the last of the litter and we immediately knew he was very special. He seemed so happy to be coming home with us. He gave us so many kisses and immediately laid down in my lap and went to sleep on the car ride home. He loves babies, human, puppy, kittens. He's helped nurture so many babies in his life already. He's the sweetest boy you ever will meet.

Gunner was taken to the vet for a growth on his nipple. We were concerned as boxers are prone to cancer. But, the vet at Animal Kingdom alerted us to the condition of his teeth which we were unaware of. He has at least five teeth that need to come out in addition to the removal of the growth. Requiring anesthesia. This also requires blood work to make sure at his age he can survive the anesthesia.

Gunner is such a happy boy. He always wants to give you kisses. He likes to talk when we're trying to have a conversation. We have five cats in our house and he is so gentle with them. One female in particular is his cat she followed him around and likes to sleep with him. He loves to go on car rides to the local lake with me, my husband and son. He gets in the edge of the water and walks around.

We live on a very fixed income. This year we had a large unexpected expense that has happened at the same time as his health issues. We couldn't stand to lose him to these issues. His love is infectious. He's the world to us and seeing him healthy is priority for our family.
