Gunther is a 2-year-old Cat in London, KY, who needs $900 for Bladder Treatment.

We have taken in several strays and adopted 2 dogs from the animal shelter. Gunther has been with us since birth because his momma was a stray that we took in. He has such a big personality and loves life. He has a special bond with my fiancé and as soon as he hears his voice he comes running. When Gunther got sick it was heartbreaking 💔

Gunther sleeps right in the bed with us, normally snuggled up with my fiancé. He loves going out and exploring in the barn and in the field during the day. He runs through the house playing with the other animals and has the greatest time just enjoying life. Gunther is such a special part of our family.

Gunther is very smart. When he’s hungry he definitely lets you know. He’ll go stand by the closet door in the foyer where we keep the food and “talks to us until we get him food.” He also knows when my fiancé gets home from work. Right before he gets home, Gunther will jump up in the window so I can see him and let him back in the house to greet Brandon when he gets home.

In October we noticed he was very sluggish. It went on a day or two and he wasn’t eating well and we hadn’t noticed him using the litter box. Gunther had a serious bladder issue and had to be kept 4 days. We are asking for any help as the vet bill is over $1000. We have managed to pay $300 so far.

We live from paycheck to paycheck. I had been at my previous job for 23 yrs and was going through some depression and anxiety and my employer ended up firing me. I do have a new job now but it’s a real struggle. We have the vet bill and the special food Gunther will need now
