Guru Needs Us to Help Ease his Pain

Guru has already endured more pain than any dog should.

This gentle boy arrived at the clinic with a severe wound beneath his jaw. The tissue has begun to die, leaving him with a painful injury that requires immediate medical care to prevent the infection from spreading even further.

As the veterinary team examined him, they discovered something even more concerning—Guru is also showing signs of distemper, a dangerous virus that can quickly become life-threatening without treatment.

Right now, Guru is receiving intensive care, including daily wound treatment, IV fluids to keep him hydrated, powerful antibiotics to fight infection, and supportive medications to give his body the strength it needs to keep fighting. His veterinarians will closely monitor his progress over the coming days and adjust his treatment as needed.
