Hi there, I'm a college student who has been displaced and had my income affected by the pandemic. My dog Guru has been with me for six years and has been my rock through all kinds of horror, being homeless, being in bad relationships, and dealing with the deaths of friends. She's the only consistent thing in my life that gives me comfort and makes me happy.

Guru loves her best friend Socrates (pictured next to her). She's the sweetest dog in the world and loves absolutely everyone. She likes sitting in laps and licking people's faces. She deserves the world, and I would do anything for her. I've never met anyone that my dog doesn't like. She gives unconditional love to everyone.

I took my dog to the ER at Dove Lewis because she had a bloated abdomen and was throwing up and peeing a lot. I thought she might have Pytometra, it was confirmed there, they gave her antibiotics and painkillers, now we are taking her to Tanasbourne emergency to have the Pyometra surgery, because it is less expensive there.

She really likes chasing squirrels and chewing on a good bone. She is also afraid of her own farts, which is pretty funny. Her and Socrates are more in love than any other dog couple I've ever seen. They lick each others faces and make out all the time. They curl up and sleep next to each other. It's the cutest thing ever.
