Gus is a 1 year old Boxer in Littleton, CO, who needs $4,000 for Oxygen Treatments, X-rays, Steroids, and Antibiotics.

Gus has been part of our life since he was six weeks old. He has been our strength as I’ve gone through a divorce due to domestic violence. My daughter and I both have had a lot of trauma from my ex-husband. He currently lives at home with us in our apartment.

Gus was diagnosed with pneumonia a week ago after being sick for two weeks but progressively getting worse. They treated him with antibiotics and a dewormer because they feared he might have lung worm because his eosinophil levels were really high. He requires a lot of testing and stays in the hospital again to receive oxygen treatments.. Our bill is already so high and we are struggling.

Gus is the love of our lives. He is my baby boy and my daughter’s best friend. He brings such joy and comfort to our lives. After going through domestic violence and being abused, physically, verbally, emotionally financially., this dog has been our comfort and our joy in our life. He is the sweetest boy I’ve ever had and everyone loves him.

Our bill is already up to 4000 and Gus is not well enough yet to feel confident that he will recover without more treatment. His treatments are necessary and needed now. We need our energetic goofy boxer back! It is so hard to see him suffer the way he is
