About this campaign

We rescued Gus from a hoarding situation where he wasn’t getting proper care. He now lives with us in Napanee, Ontario, in a safe, clean indoor space. We weren’t expecting him to be sick, but within days he showed signs of a respiratory infection. We’re doing all we can to keep him comfortable and loved.

Within days of bringing Gus home, he developed a respiratory infection—sneezing, congestion, and labored breathing. We contacted Richmond Veterinary Clinic, but we can’t afford the visit right now. He’s still eating and drinking, but we’re worried it could get worse without treatment.

Gus is the sweetest little guy. He loves watching me play video games on the TV and always wants to be close. At night, he curls up on our pillows and sleeps right beside us. He’s super cuddly and gentl, just wants love and safety after everything he’s been through.

I don’t get paid until the end of the month, and the vet costs are more than I can afford right now. We didn’t expect Gus to get sick so soon. Getting help would mean everything,he deserves a healthy, happy life, and I just want to give him the care he needs to feel better.
