Gus is a 5-year-old American Cocker Spaniel in Wylie, TX, who needs $872 for tumor on toe and eyelid.

I have had Gus since he was 8 weeks old and he is my sidekick, he goes every with me except to work. He meets me at the door just a wagging when I get home from work, he is by my side through thick and thin. Gus sleeps with me at night and he will actually come snuggle behind me in the bed, especially in the winter. Gus is my 4 legged child.

At home it is just Gus and myself but during the day I drop Gus off at my parents house mainly so my dad can enjoy him. Anyone that comes over Gus is the first to greet them with a wagging smile, he loves people of all ages. Gus loves to see the grandchildren come over because he loves to be in the middle of them for attention. Gus is a huge part of my family.

I have had dental work done that happend around the same time of Gus tumors that I am still paying on, and with COVID 19 my 2nd job(part-time) has stopped because of the virus and that is anywhere from 100-200 extra a month.

On June 25, 2020 I took Gus to the vet because he had a spot on his left foot by his toe and I had noticed it growing bigger. My vet, Murphy Veterinary Hospital diagnosed to be tumor on his toe and he also has a tumor on his eye lid. My vet sent me an est. which he says low end 474.00 and high end 872. 00.

He just warms my heart being a single parent with grown kids he is what I look forward to coming home to. I tell people that I love my dog more than my kids and my daughter agrees with that. My two kids joke with me saying I guess we have to be nice to Gus because he will be the one that inherits my stuff. Gus is a huge part of my family.
