Hagrid is a 2-year-old Siamese Cat in Rock Hill, SC, who needs $2,000 for Exploratory Surgery.

My fiancé and I rescued our cat from a house that my in-laws purchased. The previous owners left him and his siblings in this house in the middle of summer with no A/C and barely any food or water. As soon as I saw this cute little white cat with the sweetest blue eyes I knew he was ours! I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd, so once we found out he was a boy we decided on Hagrid.

Hagrid is extremely loving and wants to go everywhere we go, and I mean literally everywhere. Even choosing to sit on the top of the toilet when we go to the bathroom! (: He spends most of his day sitting on top of his cat tree looking over the neighborhood, or sunbathing on the back deck. At night he'll curl up with my fiancé and I and fall asleep on one of our pillows. He loves all the cuddles.

Hagrid is literally the MOST loving cat I've ever seen. He loves curling up to my fiancé and I and rubbing his head on our cheeks. He also loves to give sweet little nibbles on our nose to show us how much he truly loves us. What also makes him special is he has more of the personality of a dog because he grew up around two dogs when he was little. He wags his tail a lot just like them!

Hagrid was diagnosed with FIP in March or 2023. After going through an 84 day treatment - he was deemed cured! A month later - he was acting off and when I weighed him at home he had lost 2 pounds. After a vet visit and extensive bloodwork, our vet informed us that she felt something in his abdomen. An ultrasound reveled that he has a mass in his small intestine and it needs to be removed.

After nearly spending $3,000 on FIP treatment and $2,500 on an ER visit monthly extensive bloodwork, I'm afraid we can't afford anymore. Hagrid has been sick for the majority of his life, and we just want him to be able to have the chance at a long and healthy life!
