I rescued my chihuahua, Hank about 5 years ago and we have been best pals ever since. He has a little bother named Gary who is also a chihuahua. I am a full time student at the University of Wyoming and my dogs help me and motivate me to succeed everyday! Hank was diagnosed with Addisons disease about 3 years ago and it's been tough but he is a strong little guy.

Hank always has to be near me. Me, Hank, and his brother do everything together. They sleep in my bed, go on car rides, hike with me, and so on. I wish I could bring them to my classes and to work! We are a family.

Hank is so kind and patient. Even when he was diagnosed with Addisons and struggled he was still a happy boy. Hank loves everyone and wants to be included no matter what. We frequently go to the vet for his shots for his Addisons and he is very patient and nice to all the people that work there. He is so nice to other animals too and just wants to say hi!

I was recently told my my vet, Macy, at Gem City veterinary clinic that Hank has Periodontal Disease and needs immediate treatment. His mouth is very sore and he needs treatment in order to be happy and healthy and comfortable.

I am a full time, independent student putting myself through college and expenses like this are just something I cannot afford. I want to get his teeth fixed so he can eat okay and be happy and I feel so terrible that I cannot afford his surgery right now.
