Hank belonged to my partner of 11 years and has been in my life since he was a pup. My partner enjoyed taking him to the river and out in nature so they could play together. My partner died in Jan. 2023 and I promised to care for Hank. I am a single woman working minimum wage at 35 hours week and pay all the bills by myself now. Hank is my companion animal since losing my partner.

In March of 2024 Hank developed a lump on his leg that continued to swell and grow. He was seen in urgent care and given pain pills and antibiotics. They also noticed an infected molar at that time. The recommendations are "mass removal" and "dental surgery" at the same time. An estimate has been provided for the Community Vet Center.

He is my companion animal since my partner passed away, he goes everywhere with me, I live alone in trailer park and he helps me feel safe and comfortable. He's family to me. I always tell him, he's the baby, I take care of him.

My partner used to pay the rent and I would pay the rest of the bills and now I have to pay all, everything. It's difficult to make ends meet and come up with the money to pay for Hanks medical expenses. To me, Its a big deal for Hank to stay healthy. Hank is my best friend.
