Happy is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Perry, IA, who needs $1,200 for Dental Extraction.

One day the folks from our humane society in my town, brought a dog to me to foster. This dog looked like a medium sized, matted hair old dog. It took me over 4 hours to shave off his matted coat and under neath was a young poodle mix afraid of everybody and everything. I showed Happy all about love and that he would never be abandoned again!

But now he needs surgery and its more than I ever expected. He came in from the backyard with blood running down his face. I thought he had injured his eye but after a visit to the Vet ($132) they said he needs to have a deep impacted tooth poking thru his skin removed with surgery.

I have never asked for financial help before, except for towels and blankets which my community has always helped with but I wasn't prepared for this cost so any help would be wonderful for Happy and I.

After dog sitting, dog fostering, dog rescueing, I know what it takes for Vet visit but wasn't prepared for over a thousand dollar surgery but it has to be done. I cherish my dogs more than life its self and don't want them to be in pain.
