Harlei Walker is a 8 month old Mix-Breed in Danville, VA, who needs $2,000 for Bone Plating Surgery.

We brought Harlei from a breeder as a Christmas gift for our daughter. We got her when she was 8 weeks old, but she was so small, she looked 4 weeks old. We asked for a male puppy, but ended up with Harlei. She is an exciting addition to our family as she & her mother (our 6 year old daughter) act just alike. Harlei was the runt of the pack, but shares a lot of attitude & excitement to our lives.

Harlei jumped out her grandpa arms excited to play with him when she landed she fractured her front left paw.
If we cannot get this surgery we will have to have her leg amputated. I want Harlei to enjoy her long life with all 4 paws. It breaks my heart to think we may have to do this as it is the cheaper option.

Harlei is very energetic & playful she loves to play fetch and to be rubbed on her belly. Her paw being broken has taken her outgoing personality so much.

We are first time pet owners & we are getting on our feet to become financially stable. This tragic event is out of the blue for us & we cannot afford it. We can barely afford to get her leg amputated. This is very heartbreaking as I don’t want our puppy in discomfort
