About this campaign
Harlem came into my life 12 years ago by finding her abandoned by the curb in a parking lot when she was just a few weeks old. I bottle fed and cared for Harlem until she was better. Come to find out Harlem needed several stomach surgeries and was on a very limited diet while growing. She’s a fighter and came out to be this wonderful strong girl that anyone could ask for.
Harlem has just been diagnosed with cancer that is located on rear left leg close to her tail. It has started to push through her skin and causing discomfort. Cottage Veterinary Hospital in Parker, CO has been wonderful and wants to get Harlem into surgery urgently. It is uncertain which type of cancer at this point due to the mass needing a biopsy when removed during surgery.
Harlem is spunky, happy and bright ray of sunshine that completes my soul and makes my world go round. She is also packs a big bark yet does not back up the bark. She lives in a world filled of rainbows and sunshine to everyone she meets. She gets bullied by roosters and raccoons without fighting back due to her huge heart. She loves pig ears and snuggles galore.
This is completely unexpected and sudden major expense for me. I am currently in a police academy and unable to have a second job or work overtime at this time. I am asking for assistance for Harlem medical needs for surgery this week and medication/supples for after surgery
