Harley is a 4-year-old German Sheppard in Hanover, PA, who needs $2,000 for Orthopedic surgery.

Harley came into my on Valentine's day 2016. He's an amazing Emotional Support dog. When I brought him home we lived on an 8 acre farm so he had plenty of room to run. Harley became a great part of our family immediately. We now live in Hanover, PA on a property that backs up to an orchard away from the main road. We have a cat and chickens.

Harley sleeps in bed with me every night, we have never been separated since the day I brought him home, all vacations he is included, if Harley can't stay there than neither we. He loves to swim in our pool and his favorite game is stick, if you even mention the word stick he goes crazy. He loves to go for walks into the orchard.

I'm a single 51 yr old woman, mother of 4 children,grandmother of 4,raising my 4 yr old grandson. I do homecare for 34yrs.My employment ended on Aug .16,2020 when my client passed away and both of my agencies have no work in the area at this time.Then this tragedy happened .

Harley has been healthy since day one, up to date on his shots and he is chipped. On Sunday Aug 31 about 3:30am he bolted out our back screen door after something. After calling and looking for him, he came back limping. We took him to the ER and found that he had fractured his humerus directly above his elbow.

Harley has quite a few puppy friends and always welcomes everyone into our home with hugs as he will go around in circles around your legs, everyone is so amazed how loving he is. He is smart as a whip, I've taught him colors so he knows the blue ball from the red ball. I myself have some disabilities so he does help me get up out of the chair on occasion when I'm having a bad day.
