Harley Rose is a 1-year-old Beagle in South Portland, ME, who needs $450 for spay.

I rescued her, she's 10 months old and was stuck in a crate 12 hours a day, 7 days a week! I've had her now almost a month and half and she definitely has her own personality! Love her to death! I'm just trying to get her fixed for her safety! Didn't get her for puppies or to try to make money, I got her cause I needed her as much as she needed me!

I got her cause I lost both parents within weeks of each other. It's been very hard getting by. So I decided that I needed something that would take my mind off everything going on. I'm disabled so have time on my hands that's why I think it's been so tough. That's why when I found her she needed as much help as I did! She's been one of my best decisions I've made other then getting her fixed.

She makes me laugh every day, like when she sneaks underneath a blanket and pops her head up! She took right to going the bathroom outside. She has put back on the weight and muscle that she should be at. I have a son that's 20 years old and now she's the girl I didn't have before! She been like my best friend! I hate to ask for help but I will for her!

She's in great shape now! She's already has had her first heat and now's the time to get her fixed and I don't want to have any accident to happen with any other dog. I just want to be and do the responsibility that I took on! She's a great dog! Only had her for a short time but means the world to me. Hospital is Cape Veterinarian in South Portland, Maine.

I'm on social security and disability so I only get paid once a month. Trying to live on what they give me is a joke! The worst part is I use to drive class B and was going for my A when I had my accident.
