Harley is a 4-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix in Traverse City, MI, who needs $1,700 for hind leg ligament repair surgery and rehabilitation.

We rescued Harley from the humane society in February 2018. We know nothing of his history but we knew we couldn't leave this sweet boy there. He stole our hearts with his sweet, cuddly nature. He loves everyone he meets and especially loves men. Harley has walked funny since we got him and in August he started limping. He was diagnosed with an injured ACL. Since then it has completely torn. He is taking anti-inflammatory medication daily and lays around a lot. Harley is so sweet and does not complain but you can see that he is in a lot of pain. He limps constantly and often won't put wait on his leg at all. This puts him in great danger of tearing the ACL in his other leg. The Vet said the possibility of this happening is about 60%. I feel that finding Harley was like finding a gold mine and I want to see him live a long and happy life with us. I would love to watch him run and play like a normal dog should!
