About this campaign

I rescued Harrison when he was about 4months old, he had been used as a bait dog in a pit bull fighting ring. He was in bad shape with mange and worms but I managed to get him healthy and he has been very healthy and happy for the past 7yrs. He is named after James Harrison (the Steelers football player). Harrison and I live alone, he is my best friend and only companion for so long now.

Harrison and I do everything together. He makes me laugh every single day! He is so so smart and very well behaved! He loves kids and people and other dogs. He doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. He is simply a joy and I can not imagine life without him! He is my very best friend and has gotten me through so much, like the recent death of my mom, he was such a comfort for me. I love him

Harrison is such a love bug, he sleeps with me every night and has to be under the covers with a pillow under his head. He is so funny, he snores like a buzz saw but it’s quite endearing. He loves hiking and going for walks on the beach, ice cream is his favorite treat and I will say everyone who meets him really loves him! He is just so good and so loving.

Harrison was diagnosed with Lymphoma after I noticed an enlarged lymph node on his neck. The Vet sent us to an oncologist on August 22nd for his first treatment . He has always been very healthy and the prognosis looks good with the CHOP protocol Chemo

I live alone and collect $1350 a month for social security disability. I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and have had both hips replaced and an elbow replacement. Harrison is my rock, he helps me up when I literally can’t do it on my own. He is my whole support system.
