About this campaign

Haystak is an indoor cat. He was one of many kittens of 1 of 3 feral cat sisters who all got pregnant at the same time. He picked me out! He is so loving and never leaves my side. He’s an emotional support animal and I definitely need him. He gets bursts of energy from time to time but is usually laying around next to me. He is a true survivor who went through quite a bit when he was a kitten.

Two weekends ago I noticed that Haystak had lost a bit of weight. He also appeared sickly and slept for the whole weekend. I want to take him to the vet for a checkup. He’s going to need bloodwork and they’ll probably want to test his urine and feces. Until I know what is wrong with him (he is doing better) I don’t know what course of action will be taken. I’ll do whatever I can to help him.

Haystak is a very special fur baby because he acts like a dog in a lot of ways. He fetches. He comes running when you call his name and loves treats. He loves his fur sister and will walk around visitors but will not let them touch him. Once he gets to know someone he is very sweet. He loves to give kisses and to hug my belly.

I’m on a fixed income with Stage 3 cancer for the second time. If I can have 2 healthy cats again it would mean the world to me. I wouldn’t have to stress out and constantly worry about him or Jellee and I would be healthier to fight my own battle.
