Hazel is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Baltimore, MD, who needs $500 for IV, Follow-Up X-ray, and Monitoring.

Hazel came to live with us in 2022 as part of our new Baltimore life she has been our in house dog therapy provider. Hazel is our magical unicorn dog of many breeds, we were told German shepherd and it’s possible she is 1/16 th. Hazel doesn’t resemble any other dog she is our unique fur baby .

Hazel ate a mouse nest ! she was trying to help our cats! Unfortunately the nest contained fiberglass insulation as well as many other bits of detritus from our very old house( 1911). Hazel is in need of monitoring/bloodwork and possible surgery if the nest has caused a blockage. We appreciate any help and positive thoughts sent our way.

Hazel loves snuggles, she enjoys all attention and demands it from Griffen and I. Everyday we are awakened by a cold nose and morning nose lick! Hazel loves Griffen and his stuffed animals , also any treats he slides her during meals. This dog is always happy to see us even if we have just been out of the room for 5 minutes. Hazel gives us joy on our good days and comfort on our rough days 💖

I am an art teacher in Baltimore city at Midtown academy! I love my students and my coworkers. This summer I plan to work on a school mural and make art to be sold. Unfortunately my savings do not cover this doggie emergency and I am in need of assistance.
