Hazel is a 5 year old Maine Coon in Huntington Beach, CA, who needs $1,800 for Amputation of The tip of the Tail.

My daughter found Hazel from Arizona. We thought we were getting a 8 week old, but when she came she was so tiny. We think she was more like 6-7 weeks old. She was soo darn cute! She loves her family. She has anther cat sister and two cat brothers. They all live inside. I have a Cat Wheel where they exercise regularly. Hazel loves her cat wheel. I tried uploading a video, didn't work.

Hazel was healthy up until about 6 weeks ago. I found small grape size mass on the tip of her furry tail. She has a runny nose that won't go away. She has been on 2 meds so far, with no results. I am working with AAA Animal Hospital. They say it would be outpatient. They would amputate the tip of her tail. I am hoping with the mass gone her nose will clear...I am praying for a miracle

Maine Coons are the best dogs you don't have to walk, Hazel will follow you around, she know so much, like full conversations. All 4 cats are so close. She love to talk, she tells me when she's hungry, or playful. She loves to snuggle, she sleeps with me every night next to my pillow. She loves walking daily on her cat wheel. She gets lots of play time, I play with them with toys daily.

I became a widow and then really financially strapped. Paycheck to paycheck at the moment, It has been a large adjustment from 2 incomes to 1, especially since I make a lot less then he did. It would be so much to have my Hazel healthy again. She is my world.
