Hazel adopted our family in 2020 and has been a cherished member ever since. While I was going through a divorce, Hazel move with me and comforted me through the whole process. I know no matter how hard things were, Hazel would be there to greet me with her "Pittie Smile" at the end of the day.

Hazel decided it would be a great idea to eat a heating pad. While she was able to vomit up a large portion of the heating pad, there is still a significant amount in her intestines. I am told surgery is the only option to take the materiel out. She is being treated by Hulin Veterinary Hospital in Thomasville, NC.

Hazel lives in our home with her two best friends, Rita and Ruby. Hazel loves walks, treats, hogging the bed, barking and sleeping. While Hazel is always seeking affection, she can't stand too many hugs or kisses. She wants all the love but doesn't know how to receive it comfortably. She is a steadfast guardian that makes sure no neighborhood squirrels dare get too close to our house.
