Hazel was a few months old when my Ex and I purchased her at a flea market in Savannah. we divorced and my ex kept her. Our daughter was frequently distraught from the abuse and mistreatment my ex put her through. Kicking, yelling, left outside. Hazel lives with 1 dog Nova, 2 cats, 1 toddler and 1 teenager. My teen daughter has had Hazel in her life since she was 5 years old and is now 15, she is extremely attached to Hazel. Hazels favorite thing to do is cuddle Ady and steal Ady and Nolan’s food. When she’s not making right turns, she’s looking with her puppy eyes and snoozing on the couch like the old girl she is

Hazel is very food motivated, loving, throws her whole head back to howl that beagle howl and only seems to make continuous right turns. She can hear a food bag from a mile away. Extreme cuddler, lover of pets, and she can literally drink a gallon of water In 2 seconds. Also, can make a giant pond on the floor after drinking said water. Softest and floppiest ears around. Definition of “good girl”

Hazel’s illness onset was extremely sudden. We woke up 4 times to massive diarrhea/vomit all over the house. Last episode was full of blood. She continued to have bloody diarrhea episodes throughout the morning and at the her vets office. I picked her up in the afternoon, she began pouring blood out of her rectum, became comatose and was barely alive on the way to the ER. Diagnosed with severe HGE

We have had quite a bit of financial issues arise one right after the other , leaving us with little emergency funds. We’ve hit limits on credit cards we never wanted to reach. We don’t want to not be able to provide for our kids/ bills but we also don’t want Hazel to suffer
