Heffner was found running the streets of Amaretto, TX in 2018. He's suspected to be about 7yrs.old. Heffner currently lives with his family in California while his dad serves in the Army.

Heffner recently suffered a torn Cruciate and requires a pretty expensive surgery (TPLO). He's staying over night at Bear Valley Animal Hospital in Apple Valley, CA to meet with a surgeon to access his severity.

Heffner may be a big boy, but he acts more like a kitten. He thinks hes a lap dog. He loves to play with his fur sister and cuddle his humans. He's been the best addition to our family. He's sweet, loving, goofy and gentile.

My husband serves in the military and getting ready to retire after a 20+ year career. Saving up money for a move is stressful enough and adding this has hurt. We just want him healthy again so he can enjoy a yard again when we move. We really love our boy!
