Help Allie get Bloodwork, xrays, and 3 Melarsomine injections — Birmingham, AL

Allie is a sweet little girl who came into my life unexpectedly. She was found abandoned in an empty house, and when I heard about her, I knew I had to help. She is loving, affectionate, and loves being around people. I never planned on another dog, but once I met Allie, I couldn’t just walk away. She quickly became part of our family.

Allie was diagnosed with heartworms. She is currently on her first 30-day round of medication before starting her heartworm injections. Lake Cypress Animal Clinic will provide her injections and follow-up care. She will have several stages of treatment and will need to stay calm and have her activity limited while she recovers.

Allie is special because she is my first rescue something I always wanted to do. She came into my life needing someone, and I couldn’t turn my back on her. She has been through a lot but is still so sweet and trusting. I have grown attached to her, and I want to see her get healthy, feel safe, and finally have the happy life she deserves.

I need help because Allie’s total cost of treatment is more than I can afford right now. I’ve gotten her fully vaccinated, groomed, and started on her heartworm medication. I’m doing what I can, but I need help finishing her treatment.
