Help Amy get Broken femur- implant surgery — FL

Amy is super playful and FULL of energy. She’s always bouncing around the house, entertaining us with all of her little trills and meows. She has a certain meow for everything.

Amy brings so much joy and laughter into our home and has quickly become so much more than just a kitten. Our kids ADORE her. She has become the heart of our home. Our whole family has completely fallen in love with her.

Amy ran out the front door when my husband was going outside to grab something. We tried to find her but within 20 min she had been hit by a car. We rushed her to the ER where X-rays showed a completely broken femur, fractured pelvis and dislocated SI joint. A few days later she was transferred to Allied Veterinary Specialists (AVS) -Daytona Beach- where she underwent surgery to repair the break.

Amy is the cat our 9 year old son wished for for years and years. She only came into our life as a rescue 3 months ago, but our bond with her is incredibly special. She is truly the heart of our home, bringing us so much joy, laughter, and love. We were devastated when this happened to our sweet girl . We would do anything to save her. And so we did by taking out a line of credit for her surgery.

We had to act fast at the ER, where they required $1500 upfront just to stabilize Amy. We then moved her to a wonderful clinic for surgery and used CareCredit to cover the $5,500 cost. We couldn't let money be the reason to not save our sweet girl. But now we need help.
