About this campaign

Spritz is a sweet rescue dog I found abandoned on a beach in Santa Marta, Colombia. He was sick, scared and alone, but I couldn’t leave him behind. After months of care and an incredible journey from Colombia to the U.S., Spritz is finally home with my family, discovering what it means to be safe, loved and wanted.

Spritz was rescued with severe skin disease, parasites, heartworm disease and hyperthyroidism. His skin has improved tremendously with treatment, but he still needs ongoing medical care and must complete his heartworm treatment, including lifesaving injections. After everything he survived, we want to give him the healthy future he deserves.

Spritz came into our lives after someone had left him sick and alone on a beach in Colombia. Somehow, after everything humans had put him through, he still chose to trust us. My children and I fell completely in love with him. I promised him he would never be abandoned again. He crossed countries to come home to us, and now he is family—forever.

I have personally covered Spritz’s rescue, shelter, transportation to the U.S. and ongoing care. As a single mom, the unexpected cost of heartworm treatment is more than I can manage alone. Any support will go directly toward giving Spritz the treatment he needs.
