Help Ashley get Spay — Charlotte, NC

Ashley is our pet guinea pig that we rescued from the animal shelter in 2022. When we first got Ashley we didn’t know much about guinea pigs so it’s been interesting getting to know her. Shes so sweet and very talkative lol. One of my favorite things about her is hearing her squeak when we get home from school and work.

Ashley is showing signs of ovarian cysts. Apparently this condition is very commonly in female guinea pigs around her age. The treatment options are removal or to have her spayed to prevent them from returning.

Ashley is a part of the family. We’ve had her since she was 9 months old. We want to see her get better and we definitely don’t want her to suffer. We would love to see Ashley get better and back to her usual happy self.

Ashley’s surgery is going to be expensive. As a single mom of three I cannot currently afford her medical care. I’ve been reaching out to animal shelters and sanctuaries to see if I can get her some help but that has so far been unsuccessful. Hopefully we can get some support from fellow animal lovers like us.
