Help Athena get Transvenous/Transarterial Occlusion — Lexington, NC

Hey! So Athena came into my life as a rescue. I bought her and took her home and fell in love. I have her as my emotional support animal because not only is she a pet but she is my baby. I don't know what I'd do without this little girl. When my Apollo kitty passed away in the hands of a vet I broke into forever pieces. He had kidney failure due to kidney disease that could have been prevented if the vet had stapled him after his fixing, but I was told he'd heal on his own. Then he retired and closed shop. Horrible right? I know She is such a beautiful sweet baby who would do anything to make sure IM okay and happy and safe. I want to give that to her as well.

Anyway I found Athena and I could finally allow my heart to heal. Well, I soon found out that she had a heart murmur. I took her to the vet to have her looked at about a month ago and they confirmed that she has a PDA heart murmur which she was born with. It's all a lot to deal with. I have many emotions. But mostly fear that I'll lose her. I've lost so much and Im determined I will not lose her. Her vet told me she needed an echo which is gonna be over 800 dollars and surgery to close the blood vessel that will COMPLETELY heal her little baby heart, that is if she is not in heart failure. :(

My hope is to get up the money to get her surgery so she can be with me for another 13 years. I have some money set aside for her and I continue to set some aside. I am a full time student, mother and employee. I am trying to stay positive and I believe that God brought her to me for a reason to indeed save her. He's giving me many blessings and my hope is to heal her and allow her to live the life she truly deserves.

I am a single mom. Her surgery is going to be anywhere from $3500-$9000. I have some set aside for her but I just want to make sure I have the money when I need it. I can not lose her. I don't know what I'd do.
