Help Billy get Neurological evaluation and imaging studies — Los Angeles, CA

Billy is a 3-year-old rescue rabbit who came into my life very unexpectedly. I found out he was being sold as a meat rabbit and impulsively brought him home that same day in hopes of giving him a better life.

Billy is playful, curious, and full of personality. I started @BillysBigWorld on Instagram to share his life, and he has gained a really supportive community of people who love him.

Billy became unable to walk. He can still move his legs and has sensation, but he falls when he tries to walk/hop. X-rays at VEG Hospital, Torrance, CA showed that Billy has congenital abnormalities in his spine that may be compressing his spinal cord/nerves.

He needs specialized neurological care to determine what treatment can help. Hes only 3 years and may have a good prognosis with treatment.

Billy is still alert, eating, moving his legs, and has sensation, so I want to help him recover. He gives me so much comfort and he is incredibly loved though his Instagram. Now, he needs that love and support that he spreads to everyone around him right back!

I believe Billy’s purpose in the world is to spread joy. It’s what he’s good at. We need Billy healthy so he can keep spreading joy!
