About this campaign
Bosco is the most intelligent gregarious bulldog you’ll ever meet. He has the most loving personality and adores everyone, especially children and babies. He knows over 30 words and can connect with people on a very deep level. He adores his veterinarian and will literally fly into the car if I say her name. Once arriving at the vet he gets right up in a chair and waits patiently for his turn.
Bosco a couple years ago stopped walking for unknown reason. He has had a ravenous appetite since he was a a baby and eats random objects trying to satisfy his hunger and then a few months back he started losing all his hair and he broke out with horrible calcium cutis sores all over his back and neck. The vet fears he has a tumor in his adrenal or pituitary gland and is suffering from Cushing disease.
Bosco is the love of my life! I’m a disabled veteran and he is my emotional support dog. I suffer from severe PTSD and agoraphobia and it’s difficult for me to leave my home or have meaningful relationships outside of my home. Bosco and I are extremely connected and he is with me 100% of the time. He brings so much joy to my life. Without him I would be lost. He is my life.
Since June Bosco’s care has reached over $2900 and he needs an ultrasound on September 21st and a Tennessee panel done. The estimate is for another $1365 and I do have pet insurance for him that pays 70% for most things but my share is becoming increasingly more difficult to come up with. I only live on my VA compensation and because I am on Temporary Unemployability I am unable to work.
