Our sweet 13-year-old Labrador Retriever, Brooks, is the absolute heart of our family. He has spent over a decade filling our lives with unconditional love, loyalty, and joy. We could not imagine our lives without him and his littermate, Dunn.

Brooks had a life-threatening medical crisis requiring an emergency splenectomy, blood transfusions, and intensive ICU care. After being rushed to the ER, it was discovered he had a mass on his spleen that was causing internal bleeding. There were 2 options, undergo lifesaving surgery or say good-bye to our best friend. We could not fathom saying goodbye.

Brooks is a fighter, and his senior spirit is so precious to us. We are doing everything we can to ensure his golden years are comfortable, happy, and pain-free.
