Building Support for Bruce

After enduring extreme neglect and mistreatment, Bruce required extensive medical care (he had an critical skin infection that required multiple rounds of antibiotics and fungal treatment) and behavioral treatment (1:1 training sessions) to help him feel safe and learn to trust again. His treatment plan includes ongoing behavior modification training, fluoxetine, Apoquel for allergies, and Purina Pro Plan Calming Care to support his emotional well-being and long-term progress. Bruce requires special food for his stomach and to maintain his coat due to skin conditions. He LOVES pig ears and collagen beef sticks.

Bruce has worked hard on trusting people and built a great relationship with a local business "Go For a Ride", that takes him on rides and walks with other dogs. His smile has continued to grow as he's been in rescue and the search for his forever family is ongoing. As a rescue we would like to support his medical and behavioral needs while in rescue and as he moves to his forever home.
