Sweet Buttercup has been through far more than any two-year-old dog should.

Buttercup came to Have a Heart Rescue from a shelter in Alabama and thought she had finally found her forever home. Sadly, after everything she has endured, that home didn’t work out, and she was returned.

Then, after being spayed, Buttercup developed serious complications and had to be rushed to an emergency veterinarian. She is still going back and forth to the vet for bloodwork, monitoring, and continued care.

To make things even more difficult, Buttercup is also heartworm positive and will need treatment once she is stable enough.

This sweet girl has already faced so much uncertainty, but she deserves a chance to heal and finally find the safe, loving forever home she thought she had found.

Please consider donating toward Buttercup’s emergency care, bloodwork, monitoring, and heartworm treatment. Every donation helps to continue giving her the care she needs.

❤️ Buttercup has been through enough. Let’s show her that her happy ending is still waiting for her.
