Help Cali get Board and Train — Essex, CT

CALI’S NEXT STEP — OPENING MORE DOORS FOR HER FUTURE

Cali has been waiting a long time for her forever home, and during her time in our care, we’ve learned a lot about what she needs to be successful.

Right now, Cali is happiest being the queen of her castle. But what if, with the right professional training, we could give her the opportunity to someday share that castle with a friend?

That’s why we’re hoping to invest in a professional Board & Train program for Cali.

Board & Train would give her structured, consistent work with professionals focused on appropriate interactions, impulse control, confidence, boundaries, and safely building her skills around other dogs.

The goal isn’t to change who Cali is. It’s to expand what may be possible for her.

She can still be our confident, silly, zoomie-loving queen — but with additional education, we hope to give her more options when that perfect home finally comes along.

For a dog who has waited this long, opening even one more door could change everything.

Supporting Cali’s Board & Train is an investment in giving her every possible opportunity for a successful future.
