About this campaign
Cali was adopted from the Humane Society in August 2019. I knew she was meant for me the moment I saw her. She was actually being returned by her previous adopter as I was walking out the door. So many random coincidences made it so I was standing there at that moment. She is incredibly smart, obedient, the perfect family, dog, so very strong, and beautiful. She is my soul pup.
Cali has 2 torn CCL’s and meniscus injuries. I secured funds for the 1st TPLO surgery, but I do not have the $5500 required for the 2nd. I fear if I wait arthritis will settle in. She is 7 & deserves to run again. Laying in her crate has caused depression to settle in. I would give anything for her quality of life to be back to what it was. She is being treated at Blue Pearl in Savannah, Georgia.
Cali and I are a bonded duo. She is family and my commitment to her means a lot to me. Her unconditional love is like nothing I’ve ever felt. Without ever speaking a word, we truly understand one another. She lights up my days and seeing her injured has been earth shattering.
I work full-time, my husband is a disabled vet. I simply cannot afford the surgery for the second leg anytime soon. I never turn a blind eye to an animal that is in need. I am hoping I have put enough good into the universe that I can garner help at this rough time.

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone again for all of your help. It is very much appreciated.
We are praying that we can schedule Cali’s second TPLO surgery soon. Anytime she walks or gets up or even sits down, the meniscus shifts in her left leg, making a popping sound. This not only has to be painful for her, but is only causing more damage as the weeks go on.
I appreciate your support and promise to pay it forward after we get through this time.
Photo of the sweet girl in her stroller, she misses being able to go on walks, and jogs around the backyard so much.

First, I want to genuinely thank those of you that have already made a donation. You are very much appreciated.
Cali is in good spirits, anxiously awaiting the opportunity to fix her left leg with TPLO surgery. She misses her days of being the fastest runner at the dog park, and frankly, her Mom is getting a little scared listening to her meniscus making a popping noise every time she tries to stand up.
Your continued support means the world to us!
