About this campaign

Last Christmas, I decided to surprise my two girls with a puppy. What started as a Christmas gift quickly became so much more than that. She became a part of our family—a little bundle of joy who brought so much love, laughter, and happiness into our home.

Our entire family has fallen completely in love with her. She has become a constant companion to my girls and a special part of our everyday lives. From playing around the house to simply cuddling up with us, she has brought a kind of happiness that is hard to put into words.

Unfortunately, while playing recently, she jumped off the bed and suffered a serious injury to her right rear leg. She broke her leg badly enough that she needs surgery to repair it. The veterinarian has determined that she will need an implant placed in her leg to hold the bone together properly. This implant will remain with her for the rest of her life.

As a family, we are doing everything we can to get her the treatment she needs. The hardest part right now is the financial burden. The cost of surgery and her medical care is more than we can afford at the moment, and we are struggling to find the funds necessary to give her the chance to heal and get back to being the happy, playful puppy we all love.

She is not just a dog to us. She is family. She means so much to my girls, and seeing her in pain has been heartbreaking for all of us.

She is so special to us because she has become much more than the puppy we brought home for Christmas. She has become a member of our family.

When we first brought her home, she was meant to be a special surprise for my two girls. We wanted to give them something they would love and remember, but none of us could have imagined just how deeply she would become a part of our lives.

She has a way of bringing everyone together. She greets us when we come home, follows us around the house, plays with the girls, and loves nothing more than being close to her family. She has given my girls companionship, comfort, and countless moments of happiness. Her little personality has become part of our family’s everyday life.

For my girls, she isn’t simply a pet. She is their friend, their playmate, their comfort, and someone they love unconditionally. For all of us, she has become one of those special members of the family that you can’t imagine your home without.

That’s what makes this situation so difficult. Watching her struggle to walk and knowing that she is hurting is heartbreaking. We know she has a long, happy life ahead of her if we can get her the surgery she needs.

We are fighting for her because she has become such an important part of our family. She has given us so much love and joy, and now we just want to give her the opportunity to heal, run, play, and continue being the happy puppy that has brought so much happiness into our home. ❤️🐾

The reason I am reaching out and asking for help is because, as much as I want to handle this on my own, our family is already carrying significant financial responsibilities.

I am blessed to have a son who is in college, and I am responsible for helping cover his tuition and the expenses that come with supporting him while he works toward his education. At home, my income also supports my wife and our two daughters, who are in middle school and high school. Between tuition, household expenses, school expenses, and the everyday responsibilities of taking care of my family, there simply isn’t much financial room left for an unexpected expense like this.
