About this campaign

Chase is our sweet 1-year-old Goldendoodle and a very special part of our family. He is loving, playful, silly, and always wants to be close to us. He has brought so much happiness and love into our home, and we are incredibly grateful to have him in our lives. We love Chase more than words can say, and we just want to see him feeling happy and healthy again.

Over the past several weeks, Chase has had consistently high white blood cell counts on his bloodwork. His WBC has remained around 32–33 K/µL, with elevated neutrophils and monocytes. He has also experienced a fever and previously injured his neck, which was evaluated with an X-ray. He has been treated with antibiotics, including a second round of enrofloxacin (Baytril), but his white blood cell count is still elevated. His veterinarian has now referred him to a specialist to help determine what is causing this ongoing inflammation or infection and what testing or treatment he may need. We are taking things one step at a time and doing everything we can for him.

Chase is family. He has been there for us through so many moments and has a way of making us smile even on difficult days. He is still so young, and it hurts to see him go through blood tests, medications, and uncertainty when we don’t yet have an answer. We just want to give him the chance to get the care he needs and hopefully get back to being his happy, playful self. Every day with Chase is precious to us.

We never expected to be in a position where we would need to ask others for help, but Chase’s medical care has become more than we can comfortably afford on our own. With his continued high white blood cell count, he now needs to see a specialist and may need additional testing to find the cause. We are humbly asking for any help toward his veterinary care, medications, specialist visit, and diagnostic testing. We understand that not everyone is able to donate, and even sharing Chase’s story means so much to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read about our sweet boy and for helping us give Chase the care he needs.
