Help China Get the Urgent Care She Needs for a Lesion on Her Paw

“China is a 12-year-old domestic longhair cat who has been a very special part of my life for many years. She came into my life and quickly became much more than a pet, she became a beloved member of my family and a source of comfort, companionship, and unconditional love.

Recently, I noticed a strange-looking lesion on China’s paw, along with a wart-like lesion on her neck that causes her to scratch herself frequently. At this time, we do not know exactly what these lesions are, which is why she needs a veterinary examination and appropriate diagnostic care. China is scheduled to be seen, where the veterinarian will evaluate the lesions and determine the appropriate treatment. Depending on the findings, she may need medication, treatment for infection or inflammation, or removal and testing of abnormal tissue.

China has not yet received treatment for these lesions because we are still waiting for her veterinary examination and diagnosis. Her estimated veterinary care is $438. With the generous $200 grant from Paws 4 A Cure, I am hoping to raise an additional $238 to help cover the remaining estimated cost of her examination, diagnostic care, and treatment.

I am doing everything I can to provide China with the care she needs, but as someone living with a disability and relying on a limited fixed income, the cost of unexpected veterinary care is very difficult for me to manage. Your assistance is giving me hope that I can make sure China receives the care she needs.

China means so much to me. She is not simply my cat, she is my family, my companion, and a precious part of my life. I want to give her the same love and care that she has given me throughout the years.
