Chip is a good-natured, eager-to-please 2-year-old Pit Mix who made his way to us from Louisiana through A Pathway to Hope's partnership with the Good Flights program, a division of Greater Good Charities.

Chip’s life didn’t start out easy. He was found on someone’s doorstep, barely moving, with his skin raw and painful from severe demodex mange. Thankfully, help came just in time. During his recovery, it was also discovered that Chip is deaf.

Because Chip can’t hear, it can take him a little extra time to fully trust someone new. But give him that time, and you’ll be rewarded with a total lovebug who forms incredibly special bonds with his people.
