Help Chop Heal After Being Thrown From a Car

Chop is just a kitten, and he should be discovering the world from the safety of a loving home—not recovering from a horrific act of cruelty.

Someone witnessed Chop being thrown out of a car, and when Saving Sage Animal Rescue Foundation learned what happened, they stepped in to help this tiny kitten.

Sadly, Chop was injured in the incident. His tail is broken and badly damaged, and he now needs a tail amputation to remove the injured portion and give him the chance to heal without continued pain and complications.

It is heartbreaking to think about what this little kitten experienced. We may never know how he ended up in that car or why someone chose to throw him out, but thankfully, someone saw what happened—and Chop now has people fighting for him.

His medical needs won't end with the amputation. Once he is stable, Chop will also need his routine veterinary care, including vaccinations, neutering, and other necessary kitten care to get him healthy and ready for the next chapter of his life.

Saving Sage is committed to giving Chop that chance, but his care comes with expenses that add up quickly. The emergency treatment, surgery, medications, veterinary visits, and routine care he needs are all necessary steps toward getting this little guy healthy.
