About this campaign
Chloe came into my life 13 years ago when a friend of mine found her tied to offense in a park by her house. She was supposed to be temporary, but my son and I instantly fell in love with her. The vet said she was about a year old at the time. Up until a month and a half ago, she was the biggest goofball ever. Now she’s really struggling.
During a heat wave she developed a persistent cough after choking on her leash. Antibiotics helped, but Canadian wildfire smoke worsened it. She was seen again, had bloodwork and X-rays showing lung haziness, and improved with treatment. Her cough has improved, but she’s still struggling and now has a head tilt and a red ear.
Chloe is pure love in a fur body. She’s been our little therapist, best friend, and constant source of comfort for 13 years. She loves every person she meets and is always happy to go wherever we’re going and do whatever we’re doing. She has the sweetest, most loving personality and has brought so much joy to our family and our friends.
I’m currently unable to work because I recently had surgery, and our roommate unexpectedly moved to California, putting us in a serious financial bind. I’ve already spent nearly $1,200 on Chloe’s veterinary care, and I simply don’t have the money for the care she needs now.
