About this campaign

Cita came into my life when I was living alone. She had been abandoned and was very wild and afraid of people. I started feeding her, and with love, patience, and time, she slowly learned to trust me. She chose our home, and we chose her. Today she is family, not just a pet.

Cita is 11 and is having a serious respiratory emergency. She has asthma, bronchitis, kidney disease, a UTI, and has taken doxycycline. Her breathing is very fast, and her asthma medicine is not helping. X-rays and bloodwork also found a mass in her abdomen. She urgently needs a specialist.

Cita became my little daughter and my closest companion. My mom loves her like her own child too. Caring for Cita also inspired us to help other animals—we feed stray cats, birds, and bunnies in our neighborhood. She taught us how much love and trust can change a life.

We have already paid for exams, X-rays, bloodwork, medications, and ongoing care, but the bills keep adding up. Cita is eating very little, losing weight, and still struggling to breathe. We have reached the point where we cannot afford the respiratory specialist she urgently needs. Any help could give her a chance.
