Help CoCo get X-rays, splint, medications, follow up X-rays — Ashland, MO

CoCo is a sweet AKC registered mini dachsund baby who was purchased by a family member at 7 weeks old. From the first day she and I bonded. She's been a happy and active pup, but she hasn't been cared for the best. So when I had the opportunity to rescue her gentle soul I knew I didn't have a choice...but circumstances brought her to my care with a broken leg.

The situation was not ideal. CoCo and the other mama dog in her house started fighting, resulting in a broken leg for CoCo. The family member wasn't interested in spending vet money, but said I could take her to be surrendered. I took her to the vet for an estimate, which was less than I expected but still a lot for me at this time. She needs urgent care, preferably staying within my care now.

CoCo was purchased by a hobby breeder without proper knowledge or experience. She's a sweet and gentle soul who needs a chance to live her best life. She wants to love and be loved, I am dedicated to giving her enough to make up for the first 2 rough years of her life. I finally convinced her original owner to allow me to do just that. I can't give up on her now that she needs someone the most.

After taking CoCo to the ER vet and getting an estimate of $500 - $700, I realized it's not the $1000 or more I expected so it could be possible for me with some help. I have $200 saved. I am low income, receiving SSDI and not working at all since my brother's death in April
